Scott McElhannon was born in Athens Georgia and has lived in the
area most of his life. After graduating Transport Refrigeration from
Athens Technical College he got his start in the HVAC industry working
for Carrier Transicold South in Atlanta, Ga. where he performed
warranty and service work on transport refrigeration units which
included tractor trailer refrigeration, straight trucks, buses, and
even the terminal transit systems at the Atlanta Airport. Wanting to
get closer to home he went back to Athens Technical College and
completed the Air Conditioning Technology course. After graduating
Air Conditioning Technology he worked installing HVAC equipment in new
construction homes at Lake Oconee as well as Country Club of The
South. He then came back to Athens and worked for a local company as
an installation and service tech. After receiving his Conditioned Air
license from the State of Georgia, seeing a need for an HVAC company
that provides service at a time that is convenient for the customer
not just 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday but also on weekends and as late
as 9 pm without charging overtime, Scott opened Complete Comfort
Services.
