Scott McElhannon was born in Athens, Georgia and has lived in the area most of his life. After graduating Transport Refrigeration from Athens Technical College he got his start in the HVAC industry working for Carrier Transicold South in Atlanta, Ga. where he performed warranty and service work on transport refrigeration units which included tractor trailer refrigeration, straight trucks, buses, and even the terminal transit systems at the Atlanta Airport. Wanting to get closer to home he went back to Athens Technical College and completed the Air Conditioning Technology course. After graduating Air Conditioning Technology he worked installing HVAC equipment in new construction homes at Lake Oconee as well as Country Club of The South. He then came back to Athens and worked for a local company as an installation and service tech. After receiving his Conditioned Air license from the State of Georgia, seeing a need for an HVAC company that provides service at a time that is convenient for the customer not just 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday but also on weekends and as late as 9 pm without charging overtime, Scott opened Complete Comfort Services.
